As we commemorate another ANZAC Day, we wanted to share with you another one of our original documentaries.
First In, Last Out - The Silent ANZAC tells the story of the Royal Australian Navy, and role it played in the lead up to the Gallipoli Landings and it was produced by Fitzmedia in 2023.
When we think of ANZAC cove, we remember the images of thousands of men storming the beaches at Dawn on April 25th 1914.
But something you may not be aware of, is the fact that an Australian Submarine - The AE1 was already inside the Dardanelles 'Running Amok' before those brave men stormed the beach. It was in fact the first Australian asset fighting to protect the transport boats as they approached Anzac Cove.
Another uncommon fact about the Navy, is the link between it and two Australian War Ships that shared the name 'Warrnambool', and the tragic story that led to the first HMAS Warrnambool's demise after World War Two ended.
This feature documentary is another we are extremely proud to have produced, and we are honoured to share it with you again tonight.
