Following multiple reports of deceased wallabies and wallabies exhibiting abnormal behaviour on Griffiths Island Port Fairy, Wildlife Victoria deployed its Travelling Veterinary Service to assess the welfare of the animals and to provide treatment. To ensure the safety of the public, Moyne Shire Council will be closing the island to visitors until further notice.
