Late last week there were a number of mature gum trees removed from the front of the Gateway Plaza car park sparking fears Koalas that known to frequent the area could be in danger.
Liam Fitzgerald speaks to Mosswood Wildlife President Sharon Smith to discuss why the removal of these trees creates that risk, and also speaks about the Mosswood Wildlife Koala Tracker - which is designed to help property developers, councils and other organisations considering tree removal, make informed decisions based on recorded wild life in the area.
