Today a group of Warrnambool Public Transport advocates gathered at Warrnambool station as part of a state wide coalition of transport action which occured simultaneously across the state today.
Their message wasn't directed at V/Line, but the governing body that oversee's public transport across the state. The State Government.
People with disabilities aren't the only people that need accessible transport. Older people, new mums with prams, people using personal shopping trollies, not to mention people who are injured.
We are extremelly lucky to have careing V/Line staff, and they also need to be able to have the facilities to help service thousands of customers in the regions.
We spoke to a number of those people on the platform today, and heard their stories, and we really do hope they get a resolution.
